The Screwdriver dates back to 1938 when it was first recognized in literature as “The famous Smirnoff Screwdriver”. Said to be invented by American aviators, this popular drink only cost a mere dollar including the bartender’s tip at the time. The Screwdriver is a boost of Vitamin C and is a great lunch time cocktail. Fresh squeezed orange juice makes this drink even more thirst quenching; or try adding flavored vodka like berry or citrus.

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 5 oz Orange Juice
  • Orange Slice for garnish

  1. Pour ingredients in a Collins glass over ice cubes.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Garnish with Orange Slice.
